The sci-fi crime thriller is a story of a dystopian future where technological advancements have enabled the resurrection of victims of violent crimes through a revolutionary procedure that backs up their brain. With the new technology, everyone has the right of recovery in case of an unnatural death. In this society, "absolute" murder is nearly impossible.
The story focuses on an ambitious young detective Emma Trochinowska who is presented with the unique opportunity to solve a complex murder case of a married couple. One of the victims, brought back to life through this revolutionary procedure, becomes a key witness in unravelling the mystery.
